The Club was simply a 'Men's Club'. It was set up for the local men from all walks of life, workers, gentlemen, wealthy or not, all were equal, a tradition still maintained today. In 1990 the name was changed to 'The Oxshott Club' and ladies were admitted as members, on equal terms as the men.

The Club is a relaxed atmosphere and is a friendly environment for its Members and guests to enjoy. We have teams competing in local leagues for snooker, billiards and darts. As well as regular social events, music, race and quiz nights and occasional organised trips away to events during the year.

The Club is independent of all other national club organisations and political groups but has always been part of the local community.
